 Part 1 Review videos

Group 7: CST 300 - Professional Video

  1. The topic about AI agents was well covered, it went into depth about what AI agents are, how they work, and how they are used today 
  2. The presentation was clear throughout the video
  3. The quality of the research seemed sufficient, as they went into minute details about AI agents.
  4. The quality of the video was perfect; there was no editing errors that I could spot.
  5. The video is engaging and interesting, as they provided graphics, videos, and background music.
  6. The teamwork seems evident, as everyone got to speak during the video.
  7. The video is appropriate for professional, as the topic delves into advance topics about AI

  • The topic is well covered, as they go into what spacial computing is, how it works, and it's future prospects
  • The presentation is clear throughout the video, including clear audio
  • The video shows demonstrative videos relating to spacial computing, showing evidence of research.
  • The quality of the video is perfect, no errors are spotted, includes multiple demonstrative videos, and includes transitions between topics.
  • The video is engaging and interesting, as they show multiple videos throughout the presentation.
  • The team work is evident, as everyone was able to speak throughout the presentation

  • The topic is well covered, as they go into details about what deepfakes are, how they work, the ethical concerns around deepfakes, the impacts, and the challenges of deepfakes.
  • The presentation seemed mostly clear, as I think the background audio may be a bit too loud, making it a bit harder to hear the speaker.
  • The quality of research is evident, as their slides go into deep details about deepfakes.
  • The quality of video is evident, as there is no editing errors that I could spot and it includes transitions between each topic
  • I think the video could improve with engagement, by relying less on bullet points and providing graphical videos.
  • The team work is evident, as everyone in the group was able to present
  • The video is appropriate for professional audiences, as they bring up relevant issues relating to deepfakes and the technical details surrounding deepfakes.

Our videos:

I think the main things I learned in this class, is how to collaborate with others on group projects, how to write while keeping my audience in mind, and I learned how to structure of CSUMB's online classes work. Our team collaborated through discord's voice channels, so we could talk to each other while we work. I think one thing I can do to make collaboration more effective next time is find a concrete day where everyone can meet to discuss group assignments or other topics.

Week 4

Part 1 Educational Goals. My main educational goal is to achieve my bachelor's degree in computer science in 2 years. Another educational goal of mine is to do well in my upper division classes so I can be prepared for a career in software development. I would also like to strengthen my collaboration skills through the use of group projects.  Part 2 Career Goals. One of my main career goals is to become a professional software developer after graduation. I hope to leverage my current internship as an Android developer to find a new internship next summer, so I can explore different fields in software development. Part 3 Guess ETS percentile. If I had to guess, I think I would be in the 70th percentile. Part 1. The top 3 items I am good at is taking notes, reviewing easy questions on exams first, and setting a schedule. I think one area I could improve on is asking the right questions. Part 2. Log        Part 3 Project Management basics.      Companies have experts that focus on project management. A board of directors will decide on a project to be completed while a project manager essentially acts as CEO over that project. The work breakdown structure is a fundamental tool of project management. It is common to break down projects into its own products/deliverables. To create a work breakdown structure, you create a hierarchical decomposition of all the deliverables. Level 0 is the project. Level 1 is the Keyline (organizing principles). Level 2 is the Major Deliverable. Level 3 is sub-deliverables (helps meet end deliverables). Level 4 and further decompose sub-deliverables.
